Sylvain is a dark, romantic restaurant located just a block off of Jackson Square, in a carriage house built in the late 1700s. The menu is composed of southern cuisine with a twist - most southern places don't have Filipino BBQ Octopus on the menu - but they do here and it works. They also have more traditional options and one of the most beloved fried chicken sandwiches in the city. Their brick courtyard is a beautiful space to enjoy whatever you choose.
