Irene's is the place to go for upscale Italian fare in the French Quarter. The menu is full of upscale Italian classics, and one of the best is the shrimp and crab papparadelle. The dish is light, with just the right amount of cream, shrimp, and crabmeat, and is served with a light Parmesan cream sauce. It’s housed in a former macaroni factory, and the interior has a lot of charm.
