Since opening in 2014, Bearcat Cafe has been an excellent breakfast and lunch option in the Freret neighborhood. Their menu is divided into two sections: Good Cat, which has focuses on lighter dishes, and Bat Cat which features more indulgent fare. Both menus make sure to include vegetarian, vegan, paleo and gluten free options, so there's something for every person and every mood. To go along with the excellent food, they also offer a selection of micro-sourced coffees from Equator Coffee Co, and an intersting selection of house-made bottled drinks.
