These are more fast food style burgers because of the thin patties that you can stack them sky high with a single, double or triple. Besides meat and cheese, the burgers are minimally dressed with pickles and onions so that you can really customize your flavor profile at the mayo bar that boasts over 10 house-made mayo's. Catch them uptown or in the CBD and keep your eye out for special collaborations like donut buns or pizza made on top of a flattened burger. Not pretentious, greasy and family friendly, Company Burger will for sure meet your cravings for a burger.

If you're looking for the best burger in New Orleans, be sure to make a stop at The Camellia Grill. Located far uptown where the streetcar line turns from St. Charles to Carrollton ave, this diner is the third best burger in the city according to NOLA.com. They've been in business since 1950, and the interior and exterior of the restaurant are almost exactly the same as they were when they first opened. The hickman is a burger served with swiss cheese, mushrooms and onions, a far cry more upscale than what one might expect from this nieghborhood staple. The cheeseburger is a classic, as is the turkey burger. The Camellia Grill is a great place to enjoy a classic burger with a side of fries and a milkshake.

From the outside, Beachcorner Bar & Grill doesn't look like much. From the inside, this burger bar is a true gem and if you ask any local, more than deserves a spot on our list of best burgers in New Orleans. There are 10 types of burgers and a rotating monthly special burger that brings more interesting flavors to the table like the Boudin burger. Since the Beachcorner is a bar at heart, make sure everyone in your party is of age to come enjoy this New Orleans gem. As many of the patrons will be drinking, the burgers are fittingly ginormous to fit the bar's vibes, piled high with shredded cheese, chopped bacon and whatever else your heart desires.

Three B's Burger & Wine Bar serves up 10+ signature burgers, each of which more packed with flavor than the last. The Psychedelic burger is a locals favorite topped with swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms and their world famous garlic truffle aioli. Most of the menu has an Asian inspiration so the spice blend incorporated into fresh ground beef makes the Fharmacy burger stand out as a local's favorite. Post Covid the burger menu may expand once again but even with limited burger options this place is a must visit.

Not only is the burger itself delicious, but it's served with a loaded back potato that is equally as famous. With traditional options, Port of Call stands out with its signature shredded cheddar cheese and more adventurous burger toppings like peanut butter and onion jam. These burgers are big with a big reputation to match as Port of Call has been featured on Food Network for it's food and must-try hurricane's (Nola amirite?).

The menu is traditionally more high-end than burgers but when the chef decided to put a burger on the lunch, dinner, and take-out menu, you know it's going to be good. Introducing, the LPG burger, served with house pickles, onion marmalade, arugula, whole grain mustard, aïoli & gruyère on a brioche bun with hand-cut fries, this is a can't miss stop for burger lovers. If visiting the city with friends with more high-class tastes, suggest Le Petite Grocery, they'll love the farm-to-table vibes and you'll love the burger.
